Hamilton City Schools Human Resources Office is responsible for the recruitment, selection, hiring, assignment, and retention of classified and certificated staff members. Once hired, we support our staff members with professional growth opportunities and mentorship for new teachers and future administrators.
The Human Resources Office is also responsible for job postings and descriptions, background checks, reference checks, certification/licensure, work calendars, leaves of absence, personnel applications and file management, staffing projections, employee contract negotiations, substitute teacher recruitment, and university student teacher and intern teacher placements.
