On Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, the ACT will be administered to 11th-grade students at no cost during the regular school day. No registration is required, and the ACT must be taken at school on this specific date determined by the state and district.

ACT scores will provide information about your student’s progress toward college readiness and are widely used by colleges in making admission decisions. Students who take the ACT will share their scores with up to four colleges or universities for free.  Please take time to discuss these options with your student.

The ACT includes multiple-choice tests in English, Reading, Math, and Science.  Counselors will be sharing important information with juniors before testing, including, but is not limited to, test-taking strategies, practice tests, general format, necessary materials, and what to expect on test day.

Important details for test day on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022:

  • Please make certain your student arrives by 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1st, to ensure a successful testing experience. Students will report to their first (1st) period classroom.

If they do not have a first period, they will report to the Media Center.

  • Testing will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m., with lunch immediately following. Students have the option of dismissal once testing in the building is finished. Please see the following page for more information about dismissal.

For more information about the ACT, please contact your school counselor.
