I teach 8th grade english. The best thing about teaching is the students. I love watching them grow academically as they prepare for high school. Being a teacher is the best career in the world. Middle schoolers are so much fun. They have so much energy and constantly surprise you with new ideas and creativity. At Garfield, I see a love of learning daily. No day is ever boring or the same. I am so thankful for every student who enters the room because they all bring something unique.
