6th graders see the Scientific Method at Work!


6th graders in Mrs. Johnson’s class completed a science experiment to see how different liquids effected the length of gummy bears. They left gummy bears to sit in 4 different liquids for 24 hours and measured them before and after to determine growth. The liquids that showed the most growth were water, koolaid, and apple juice, while rubbing alcohol and soy sauce caused the gummy bears to shrink! bj
