Mark your calendars - HCSD's Spring Break starts on April 1 and ends on April 9, 2023. School resumes on April 10, 2023.
Mrs. Light's class studied Native Americans and their heritage. The students made Native American clay pinch paints and painted them.
Students work hard to brainstorm ideas, write a rough draft, and peer edit. After a meeting they go back to revise their work. The final product is shared out in front of the group.
In October writing, third grade students focused on writing paragraphs with a topic sentence, three supporting detail sentences, and a conclusion sentence.
Third grade students explored measuring time to the nearest second with stopwatches.
