Free Vaccine Clinic - December 6 & December 8 vaccine clinic

The City of Hamilton Health Department will be hosting two free vaccine clinics for children ages 5-11 on Monday, December 6 (Riverview Elementary), and Wednesday, December 8 (Highland Elementary) from 4:30-6:30 pm. Click here for details.

Wilson Students Visit Butler Tech

Wilson Middle School eighth grade students visited Butler Tech's D. Russel Lee campus and The School of the Arts campus this week.  Students explored the programs offered for high school students through Butler Tech and even used interactive computer stations to simulate different career paths. #LivinTheKnightLife #BigBlueOnTheMove #OneButlerTech

Wilson History Students Send Letters to Area Veterans

Wilson Middle School students wrote letters to area veterans in history class for Veterans Day.  The letters were then delivered to three different locations: the Fairfield VFW, the Camden VFW, and the Camden Legion.  The Camden Legion hung up the letters along the wall for all the veterans to read on Veterans Day.  See picture below.

October 2021 Wilson Students of the Month

Wilson Middle School is proud to announce the October 2021 Students of the Month.  

The honorees are Ellayeh Humphrey, Ryan Barker, Bayleigh Judd, Karsyn Ramey, Ryan Beyer, Abigail Gomez, Hayden Stargel and Kelvin Jhally.   The students celebrated with a pizza lunch hosted by Wilson administrators on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Ms. Walle's Art Classes Digital Scene Project Painting

Using the Google Draw program, Ms. Walle's  students had to create a scene with two characters engaged in some activity. They used visual clues to help the viewer know what is going on and where. They also had to demonstrate use of various tools in the program.  https://youtu.be/oSZjFNgcD5U   

Update: HCSD Quarantine Protocols and Masking important update

Monday morning (10/25/2021), the Ohio Department of Health amended its quarantine guidelines. Given this change, the district will change the quarantine guidelines and masking requirements recommended and approved at the September 3, 2021, HCSD Board of Education meeting.

Ms. Walle's Art Classes Two Color Theory and Symmetry Projects

Ms. Walle's first quarter art students worked on two Color Theory and Symmetry projects. They demonstrated understanding on how to mix paint using Analogous, Complimentary, and Monochromatic color theories. Various types of symmetry were learned such as Radial and Cross. Both watercolor and tempera paint techniques were also applied.


Wilson August / September Students of the Month

Wilson Middle School celebrated the August / September Students of the Month with a pizza party during lunch on Friday, October 1, 2021.  Students are nominated by their team teachers and must positively reflect the Wilson expectations of being accountable to self and others, being compassionate to all, and being driven to succeed.   The August / September Students of the Month are: Teresa Adams, Jordyn Williams, Morgan Theiss, Johnny Wagonfield, Eckley Bridges, Aniah Wallace, Isabella Davis, Jayden Hume, Peyton Eversole, Brayden Beckelhymer, Michel Martinez-Turan, MaKenzie McCormick, Emma Barnes, Colton Sparks, Elijah Jones, and Bella Lyttle.
