Ms. Walle's Art I classes of seventh and eighth grade students recently completed a Mandala project and also a Zentangle project. The Mandala project concentrated on learning about radial symmetry and reflection. The Zentangle project focused on learning about texture and multi-step pattern creation. Students researched various fonts for their initials that are displayed in the project

8th grade students in Mrs. Warrix's class are reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. They are focusing on character traits, plot development and understanding the different components of fantasy literature. Each student is placed into a different house and they gain points through participation, effort and also for being compassionate and caring towards others.
