Online CatalogWilson Library Catalog

Info OhioInfohio is a collection of databases that are available to the citizens of Ohio. You might have seen this at the Lane Public Library. This has so many great resources, I could go on forever. I’m going to highlight a few that I think will be most useful or interesting to you
Country WatchCountry Watch is a database which offers a lot of information on different countries of the world. You can look at maps, current events, currency (money) rates, population, economy, government, and a lot of other statistical information.
BritannicaBrittanica Online is an online encyclopedia which offers quick access to anything that you would find in a printed version of Encyclopedia Brittanica. You can also access a dictionary, thesaurus, biographical information, news articles from the New York Times, and help sections for school subjects.

Lane Public LibraryThe Lane Library's mission is to provide and promote library resources to meet the needs of the library's service area.

Reference DeskRefdesk.com is the single best source for facts on the net.   ScholasticScholastic includes lesson plans, professional educator resources, author & book activities, research tools, & online activities.
World BookWorld Book Online is based on the World Book Encyclopedia and is produced and developed by World Book Publishing, Inc.

Dress Code Addition:

Shorts may be worn before November 1 and after April 1 of each school year.  Short-shorts are not permitted.  The appropriate length for skirts, shorts and skorts is no shorter than mid-thigh when standing or sitting.

Detention:

Students receive a detention when they are given three violations from a teacher.  The violations are given for classroom issues: being tardy, being unprepared (materials), sleeping in class, talking in class, etc.  When a student receives a detention, the parent will be notified.  Students have one week to serve the detention and four options for serving.  Detention is held in room 210 from 7:30 a.m. until the warning bell (7:53) on Monday and Wednesday and from 3:05 until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.  Students who failed to serve a detention within the week’s time will be assigned a Wednesday or a Friday school (held from 3:00-5:00 p.m.).  Parents must provide transportation for students who are assigned after-school discipline.

Bicycles:

If your child is riding his/her bicycle to school, please make sure he/she has a lock to secure the bicycle to the bike rack.  We have had multiple thefts of unlocked bicycles this year by outsiders (non-students).
