Dress Code Addition:
Shorts may be worn before November 1 and after April 1 of each school year. Short-shorts are not permitted. The appropriate length for skirts, shorts and skorts is no shorter than mid-thigh when standing or sitting.
Detention:
Students receive a detention when they are given three violations from a teacher. The violations are given for classroom issues: being tardy, being unprepared (materials), sleeping in class, talking in class, etc. When a student receives a detention, the parent will be notified. Students have one week to serve the detention and four options for serving. Detention is held in room 210 from 7:30 a.m. until the warning bell (7:53) on Monday and Wednesday and from 3:05 until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Students who failed to serve a detention within the week’s time will be assigned a Wednesday or a Friday school (held from 3:00-5:00 p.m.). Parents must provide transportation for students who are assigned after-school discipline.
Lockers:
We cannot be responsible when students fail to lock their lockers or take items into the gymnasium locker room and do not bring a lock to secure those items. Encourage your child to secure all personal items and books in a locked locker
Bicycles:
If your child is riding his/her bicycle to school, please make sure he/she has a lock to secure the bicycle to the bike rack. We have had multiple thefts of unlocked bicycles this year by outsiders (non-students).
Please contact your childs counselor if you need your login info.
