During the course of the year, students must demonstrate consistent personal and educational growth in the areas of Hamilton's gifted program goals. Students are expected to not only meet the criteria but also actively accept the daily learning challenges.

As mandated by the State of Ohio in the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 3301-5115 Section D3, written education plans (WEPS) are provided to report the effectiveness of an educational plan for the individual student. On a periodic reporting basis WEPs are distributed to Hamilton parents of gifted students. WEPs are based on the individual's needs within the confines of the services provided. Students do not receive grades but a rating of their effectiveness in meeting the standards of the program.
