The Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Linden Elementary School took place on September 20, 2007 with many of Hamilton's dignitaries in attendance.

Attendees were treated to musical selections from the elementary school chidren as well as short speeches from Superintendant Janet Baker, School Board President Larry Bowling and Hamilton's Mayor Don Ryan.
