"Partners in Education"
Between the Hamilton Schools and the Business Community
Current Business Partners
What is the Adopt-A-School Program?
The Adopt-A-School Program is designed to create a family that will include an adopter (a business) and an adoptee (one of the Hamilton schools).
The partnership between the schools and the business is a sharing of time, talent, and expertise. It is the matching of school needs with business resources to improve student success.
What is the Purpose?
While the broad purpose of the program is to strengthen education through the use of business resources, the ultimate goal is to encourage greater community interest in the schools.
Adopt-A-School is not designed for financial support. It is a people-to-people relationship between the adopter and the adoptee which is mutually beneficial.
Who Can Adopt?
All businesses who are interested and willing to make a commitment of time, energy, and resources, may adopt a Hamilton school. There is no limit to the number of adopters per school.
What Do Adopters Do?
Adopters offer resources to meet school needs and to promote student success. The overall objectives of the Adopt-A-School Program are flexible in order to utilize the resources of the adopters and to meet the needs of the school.
