2020-2021 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS NOW ON-LINE kinders

Research tells us that early childhood learning is key to a student’s success in school. Our district is proud to offer free all-day kindergarten for our students.

Hamilton City Schools will be serving free Grab-n-Go meals for children 18 years and younger 11:00 to 11:30 am on Mondays and Wednesdays from May 27th through June 30th. Click here for pick up locations and additional details.

Today, April 20, 2020, Governor Mike DeWine made an announcement ordering all of Ohio’s public, community, and private K-12 school buildings to be closed to students for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic school year. 

Kindergarten Registration Now Open! k registration

The Hamilton City School District is excited to announce Kindergarten registration for the 2020 - 2021 school year will begin April 20th, 2020! Due to COVID-19, all registrations will be completed online only. Click here for all relevant registration information including links to registration forms!

Second Round of Home Learning at Riverview Elementary Riverview Logo
The second round of online assignments will go live on Monday April 13th.  These will again be available on your student’s Google Classroom.
If you need assistance on how to access this, please check out our Twitter, Facebook, or website for a video tutorial. 
If you do not have access to a device, we will also be handing out paper assignments again as an alternative.
Paper assignments will be available for pickup by the main office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00--12:00 starting on Monday April 13th.  Those of you who have completed paper assignments from the first round will also be able to turn those in at those times.

IMPORTANT: Accessing Online Assignments Riverview
Students, Parents, and Families:
The video attached explains how students can access online assignments during their time out of school. If your student does not have access to a device, we are able to provide paper copies of the assignments in the main office at Riverview. Pickup for paper assignments will be tomorrow, Tuesday March 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If for some reason you cannot make that time, please call the school and let us know. Thank you for your continued support.

Gingerbread House Construction in Preschool Gingerbread Houses
The Preschool Classes at Riverview Elementary were excited to build Gingerbread houses with their friends and family! They used graham crackers and milk cartons to build the base of their house, then some sweet treats to decorate them! Not only did they look great, but they will be a yummy treat to enjoy at home!

On December 13 Riverview Elementary's Drama Club presented two Reader's Theater productions about Santa's lesser-known reindeer -- Boomer the Bulldozing Reindeer and Bob the Goofy Reindeer.
