Hamilton High School is excited to showcase the talents of our student-athletes and event participants while following the mandatory requirements set forth by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.
It is imperative that everyone follow these special orders so that our students can compete and have a successful season. Failure to do so may result in a second-degree misdemeanor with a fine and jail time.
Due to the state’s mandate on the limitation of spectators who may gather at any indoor or outdoor venue, spectators will be limited only to parents and family members of the student-athletes and event participants.
Unfortunately, we can’t honor our faithful fans and season ticket holders this fall season. Per this order, each school has specified limits depending upon venue, sport, and capacity.
Spectators who will be permitted to attend must conduct daily symptoms assessments and must stay home if experiencing any of the following: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat.
At-risk parents and siblings who are vulnerable as a result of illness are urged to stay home.
Family and household members must sit together socially-distanced from other families/household groups. Six-feet social distancing must be maintained between groups. Spectators must wear face coverings at all times, covering their nose, mouth, and chin. No congregating before or after practices or games is permitted. This will be strictly enforced by administrators and law enforcement.
Hamilton High School will follow the requirements that the state has set forth in properly sanitizing the HHS Athletic Center and Virgil M. Schwarm Stadium, frequently cleaning high-touch areas such as railings and bathrooms, developing a spectator pathway, and limiting entrances to the venues.
To accommodate our many fans and season ticket holders, we are collaborating with Chatterbox Sports. You may download the Chatterbox Live App (available through Android or Apple) and view live streaming mobily. WMOH (1450 AM) will also be broadcasting our home football games.
